Kim is an attorney from Seoul, Korea who has completed his LL. B from Soong-sil University. After passing the Higher Official Exam of the Korean Government in 2003, he served as a senior deputy director of Ministry of Strategy and Finance for 12 years.
During his tenure at Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Kim drafted Amendments for the "Labor Standard Act", the "Seafarers Act", and the "Industry Accident Compensation Insurance Act". On top of that, he took charge of several international negotiations as a representative of the Korean Government for Natural Person Movement Chapter of Free Trade Agreement such as Korea-European Union(EU) Free Trade Agreement and Korea-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Free Trade Agreement.
At the same time, Kim volunteered for 12 years at the Migrant Workers Human Rights Center in Seoul where he defended several foreign workers who had immigrated from China and Southeast Asia.
Thanks to his outstanding contributions to the Korean Government, Kim was chosen as a beneficiary of the Korean Government’s Official Training Abroad Program in 2014 which gave him the opportunity to study at Syracuse University. After receiving his Master’s Degree for Public Administration at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University in 2016, Kim decided to further develop his legal career professionally.
Kim was admitted to Syracuse University College of Law where he completed his Master's in Law [L.L.M] graduating on May 2017. He will be practicing immigration, Social Security, Workers’ Compensation, and Personal Injury actions.
Sarah Rodman, J.D.

Sarah N. Rodman received her law degree (JD) from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2016. Upon graduation, she worked in a boutique law firm where she focused on intellectual property and corporate law.
As a Trustee’s Scholar, Sarah studied Political Science and Spanish at Daemen College, and was actively involved in the Political Science and History Department. She participated in an internship at the American Bar Association in Washington, D.C. which gave her the opportunity to meet many leaders in politics, including several Supreme Court Justices. Her senior thesis focused on Judicial Emergencies in the Federal District Court System and how they affect hearing timeliness.
Sarah is trained classical singer and is active within the Buffalo theater community. She is a current company member of Actors Anonymous Theatre Company. In her spare time, Sarah is a cantor at her parish in Eggertsville, NY, and volunteers at alumni events hosted by her Alma Maters.
She is awaiting bar admission in New York State. Sarah will be practicing Immigration, Social Security, Workers’ Compensation, and Personal Injury actions.

Eddie Montesdeoca, B.A., J.D.

Eddie Montesdeoca received his law degree (JD) from the Syracuse University College of Law in May 2017.
While a law student, Eddie was extensively involved in various activities. Eddie served as the Notes and Comment Editor for the Syracuse Journal of Science and Technology. Eddie was a member of the Latin American Law Student Association, serving as an Executive Board Member for two years. Eddie also competed on the Hispanic National Bar Association moot court team in the spring of 2016.
Eddie is from Western New York and will be practicing Immigration, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security.
Dicsia Dorta, Masters in Law from Cuba

Dicsia earned her law degree from the University of Habana Law School in Cuba, her native country. She practiced law in Cuba for 8 years working as a legal advisor of institutions of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
She immigrated to the United States in 2007 and established in the Syracuse, New York area since then.
She held different jobs from 2007 to 2014. In the summer of 2014, Dicsia was given the opportunity to work as an intern in the New York State Human Rights Division where she says she “fell in love with the legal investigation process” and help the Human Rights Specialists to interpret for Spanish speaking complainants.
Dicsia served as a volunteer for the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga County. She obtained certifications as a legal and medical interpreter in 2015.
In 2016 Dicsia completed her certificate program as a legal assistant at Bryant & Stratton College, where she also completed a notary public course.
In November of 2016, Dicsia was inducted to the ABG Honor Society in Bryant & Stratton College and will be graduating with honors in April 2017.
Dicsia is our legal assistant since 2015.
